Oakwood opened in Harborne in 2020, founded by Dr. Fatima Hassan after more than a decade working in hospital and high street pharmacy. The brief was simple: combine clinical rigour with a calm, modern space where patients feel listened to.
Today, we serve thousands of patients across Leeds with NHS dispensing, free local delivery, a full travel clinic, vaccinations, and a growing range of private prescriber services. Whatever brings you in, the same team will look after you each visit.

Fatima qualified as a pharmacist in 2008 and worked across NHS hospitals in Leeds and Manchester before opening Oakwood. She is an independent prescriber with a special interest in travel medicine and weight management, and personally signs off every clinical decision the pharmacy makes.
